Mom's 50th

My sisters and I threw my mom a 50th Birthday Bash this weekend! It was loads of fun! We did a 60s theme since she was born in 1962. I enjoyed decorating for the party and getting to dress up! Not to mention, I danced my heart out! Such a blast!

House- more updates

We had some major progress on the house again this week! I know it will soon slow down, but I was so excited to see my cabinets and some of my light fixtures go up. It allows me to really visualize that in a few weeks this will be my HOME! :)

CANTON

With the upcoming completion of our house, I desperately wanted to make a trip to Canton, TX's Trade Days. I had never been, but of course, I had heard awesome things. I really wanted to go before I ordered all of my lighting just in case there was something there I prefered. I did not find any lighting, but I did find a few goodies for our house. Justin decided to come with me since my mom had something come up....we spent the night in Lindale, TX and ate dinner in Tyler, TX and then drove to Canton that next morning. It was a lot of miles in just a little over 24 hours, but I'm glad to say I experienced it! :)

We ate dinner at Fat Catz's Cajun resturant. Yum!

Since the 3rd Anniversary is traditionally leather, we got each other new tennis shoes! :)

JA Area Meeting

On Sept. 22, I went with 6 other ladies to Jackson, MS to our Junior Auxillary Area Meeting. We had a great time networking and learning about new project ideas.


We even met this famous guy ^ 1st Runner Up on Master Chef
