I'm 14 weeks!
Pregnancy
Highlights:
Due
Date: October 18, 2013...some ultrsaounds show Oct. 18, 20, or 21....My specialist did say that I should be induced at 38 weeks so that puts me being induced around Oct. 7!
How Far
Along: 14 Weeks
Size of
baby: Baby O is the size of a lemon!
Total
Weight Gain/Loss: 3 lbs
Maternity
Clothes: I’ve started wearing my belly band around my work pants or
will just linen pants that are drawstring at the waist. I did buy one pair of
maternity pants at Old Navy the other day because they were half off.
Gender: Can't wait to
find out! Hoping to find out on May 2nd!
Movement: None
yet
Sleep: I'm
so tired - that I sleep pretty well!
What I
miss: Caffeine & Boiled Crawfish (I can't lie!) Oh, and being
able to take the GOOD medications when sick!
Cravings: Anything
SALTY!!! Salt & Vinegar chips are my favorite right now! I love Simply
Apple Juice, Farmer’s Garden Dill Pickles, and Watermelon! I’m loving lots of
fruits.
Symptoms:
Feeling pretty good! Unfortunately, I still have really bad headaches! I’ve
been trying to drink more water, and my doc said to eat every 2 hours to keep
my blood sugar from dropping.
Emotions: This
pregnancy finally feels real since we have gotten good reports from both docs.
This makes me elated to know that our sweet baby will be here in 6 months!
Looking
forward to: In two weeks, we hope to find out the gender and host a little
Gender Reveal Party. I just can’t wait to find out to start planning the
nursery!!!
Update: I
went to see my specialist last Wednesday. Everything looked great! PTL! I must
say it is nice getting to see our little one every month via ultrasound even if
it b/c I have a blood clotting problem. My specialist is so friendly and
comforting that I left feeling like “WE ARE REALLY HAVING A BABY!!!” I know
that I should have been feeling this way, but it felt so great to hear from my specialist that
everything looked great, and that I have only a 2% chance of miscarrying from this
point on. I felt so relieved and thankful that my God is safely carrying us
through this pregnancy journey.
